About 3 months ago I went to nostalgia con in Anaheim and I was lucky to meet Jake long himself Dante basco,John DiMaggio and Kari wahlgren among others. I told Dante how cool he was as Jake and added in holla to my sentence and told him to give my regards to trixie and spud but the downside I missed Mae Whitman since she was supposed to be there but maybe next I suppose.

I've always headcanon that for many dragons, they grow horns as they age hence why Jake and Haley lack horns due to their youth.
This makes sense since we see many older dragons in Hong Kong Longs and most have horns (the only exception being one of the councilors, the female one in blue robes but she might be an outlier)
Maybe Jake's horns would be blue like his grandpa (Jake already shares a blue transformation aura like his grandpa so it makes sense)
Sure we have Fred Nerk who has horns but they definitely retconned a lot in season 2 (like giving most of the dragons horns and more distinctive appearances). The only other young dragon we see in season 2 is Gregory who also lacks horns.
So if Nerk was in season 2 it's likely he'd lack horns.
What do you guys think? Horns grow in with age?
Yeah horns seem to only be an aesthetic thing (even though head butting would make horns pretty helpful) but horns could be seen as a sign a dragon has come of age.
Every time we see a young Lao Shi, he's still an adult and hence as horns.

Something I just realized was how in season 1 the dark dragon lacked horns (which makes sense since he was supposed to be an evil Jake) but with that idea scrapped they went all in with the scare vibes
Seeing it on this wiki, it's the first I'm hearing of it, and the series bible is the sole source.
With the existence of characters like Haley, does this really meet any sort of standard for lore that should be plastered all over?
With some Disney classics like The Proud Family series having gotten a comeback via "Louder and Prouder" and rumors of Kim Possible getting a possible revival series I'm hoping we get a revival for American Dragon: Jake Long and see Jake have new adventures after reuniting and getting back together with Rose and having his dad know about his secret on being half dragon. Also for new opportunites such as maybe:
The Huntsman returns as an evil spirit now more obsessed with revenge against Jake and on Rose for destroying him and foiling his twisted plan on exterminating magical creatures.
The Dark Dragon finds a way to return from the dimension he got banished to, to get revenge on the world, humans and magical creatures alike.
New ancient magical looking foes that Jake and his pals face.
Maybe some revelation on what happened to Jake's grandmother, his mom's mom, and his grandpa's wife.
See perhaps Jake Long and his pals handle their new college years after graduating high school in the near end of Season 2.
Travel to different magical realms or dimensions.

Really? I'd like a fact check on that please, because elves in Germanic mythology are no different from elves in terms of height. It's the dwarves that are small.

American Dragon: Jake Long is an American superhero animated television series It marked the first animated Disney Channel Original Series. It produced by Walt Disney Television Animation created by Jeff Goode. It premiered on Disney Channel on January 21, 2005 and was discontinued on September 1, 2007.
