Danika Hunnic​utt was a student at Jake's school, who for a time was his rebound love interest. They were partners for graduation.

Danika is a swim team captain at Millard Fillmore Middle School who appeared in a few episodes.

The Academy

Her first appearance; in the beginning of the episode, Spud tried to invite her to be his dancing partner at school ball.

Supernatural Tuesday

In the beginning of the episode Jake tried some of his skatebording tricks to attract Danika's attention. At first he succeded, but then a new transfer student, Nigel Thrall, impressed her more by cutting her lunch in perfect pieces. As a result, she was backing him in school presidental elections.

Siren Says

Trixie and Spud were holding a charity auction, where girls from their school would bid on guys from their school. Each guy will have to spend the whole week with their lady, and they would go to the Manhattan Medieval Museum at the end of the week. And since Rose was gone, Jake felt maybe it was time to get a new girlfriend, and signed out for the auction. So finally, when Jake moved on, Danika and a weird nerd named Vicky went neck and neck, trying to outbid each other. When Danika ran out of money, it seemed like Vicky was going to win. Obviously, Jake wanted the prettier girl, so when no one was looking, he shot a paper five dollar bill at her, so she'd win the auction. But once Jake met Danika, he started acting funny. His eyes glowed blue, and he did incredibly dangerous and weird things. Gramps, Trixie, and Fu believed that Danika was a siren, and that she was hypnotizing him, and that Jake should break up with her. Jake was finally sick of everyone saying these things about Danika, and agreed to go with Vicky to the Museum. Once there, Danika showed up, and once again Jake was hypnotized. He then finally believed she was a siren controlling him, lampshading that it was easy to get people to believe the beautiful girl was a siren (Trixie, who was the first to suspect Danica for this very reason, felt very embarrassed at this point). Danika ran off crying, and Vicky revealed to them that she was the real siren, and that she gave a secret necklace to Danika, which gave her siren powers. Once she put back on the necklace, Vicky controlled Jake, Fu, and Spud to attack Trixie. Trixie ended up saving the day, but the relationship between Danika and Jake was broken.

Being Human

Jake needed a partner for graduation day. At the last minute, he met up with Danika and found out since Brad got suspended, she had no graduation partner. Jake and Danika then decided that they could go together, as Danika finally said she's not angry with him anymore, and Jake made a promise that there will be no interruptions this time, or so he thought.

Trivia

• Danika's voice actor, Jessica DiCicco, also voiced Malina in The Emperor's New School.
• There is a scene where a group of teens circle Jake and his golden motorbike. In the crowd, two Danikas can be seen!
  • Obviously twin sisters, during the auction, not only is the swim team captain Danika present wearing a dress with her hair down and unfettered, but another "Danika" is seen in the audience wearing the more familiar cap-n-street-clothes. Perhaps one spells her name with a "c", while the other on spells her name with a "k".
  • Again, both "Danikas" are present in another episode. In the school's hallway, the cap-wearing sister walks past just before Jake turns to talk to the dress-wearing one about being his graduation partner.
• Despite the fact that both Jake and Danika show interest in one another, in the end, Jake still has affections for Rose.
• Albeit rather vaguely, Danika bears some resemblance to Rose, which may explain why Jake was interested in her right away.
