The Test of Judgement in Fire was the first of three tests that Jake was given by the Dragon Council, and is given to him by Councilor Kulde. In it, Jake had to cross to the other end of the course, melting all the threatening ice sculptures, while keeping the non-threatening ones intact.
Jake failed the test, due to accidentally being hit by a can of magic sneezing salts he intended to use on Fred Nerk, however, after saving Fred from The Dark Dragon, Kulde gave Jake enough bonus credit to change his fail to a pass.
